This Phone Number Opt-In Consent Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Phersons Kellan Estates collects, uses, and manages tenant phone numbers for text message (SMS) communications. Digital Opt-In: Through our tenant portal with a clear, unchecked consent checkbox

When you provide consent, you may receive:

Lease renewal information (60, 30, and 15 days before lease expiration)

In compliance with regulations, Phersons Kellan Estates will only send text messages between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM local time, except in cases of emergency affecting tenant safety or property integrity.
Data Security and Privacy
At Phersons Kellan Estates, we protect your privacy:
Your phone number is stored securely with limited access
We never sell, rent, or share your number with unaffiliated third parties
We only use your number for the purposes you've authorized
We maintain records in compliance with Connecticut requirements
Special Protections for Senior Tenants
For tenants aged 62 and older, we offer:
Alternative communication methods (phone calls, mail)
Larger print consent forms
Verbal follow-ups to ensure understanding
Additional assistance in managing text message settings
Changes to This Policy
Phersons Kellan Estates reserves the right to modify this policy. Changes will be:
Communicated to tenants via text message (for those who have opted in)
Posted in common areas of the property
Updated on the tenant portal
Provided in writing upon request
Substantial changes to messaging practices will require renewed consent.
